I should know that somewhere, someone has identified all the speech tics.
I love knowing there is always a word to describe the many ways we use/fashion/employ words. On Sunday I learned a new one: antimetabole.
And of all places I learned this on NPR’s On the Media (transcript and audio here).
Someone has identified the speech tics, but have the speech tics identified that someone?
